Savara Willis

Director of Community-Based Services

Brookview House is pleased to announce that Savara Willis has been promoted to Director of Community-Based Services. In this role, Willis will oversee Brookview’s Community-Based Services department, which provides stabilization services to individuals and families in the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan. The Director of Community Based-Services is tasked with leading Brookview’s Teen Programs, our Youth Advisory Board, and our outreach programs to survivors of domestic and community violence. The Director also builds relationships among other local service providers to raise awareness about the needs of low-income families and build an integrated network of support.

Willis joined Brookview in 2023 as a Community Base Manager where she oversaw all domestic violence (DV) services that Brookview provides to the community, including in-person support, advocacy, restraining order court accompaniment, safety planning, medical advocacy, and more. Notably, Willis founded Blossoming Together, a weekly support program for DV and sexual assault survivors, as well as coordinated emergency assistance to help survivors access help with basic needs such as food, clothing, rent, and utilities. Prior to joining Brookview, Willis held various case management, mentoring, and DV advocacy roles in organizations in and around Boston. Willis is a graduate of The Ohio State University and resides in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
