Above & Beyond
Above and Beyond is our after school and out of school time program for elementary and middle school youth ages 5 to 13 who we refer to as “Brookies.” Programs are located at Brookview’s sites in Dorchester and Roxbury. A&B prepares each child for success through individually designed academic and behavioral goals, promoting leadership and positive decision-making.
Brookies participate in our programs year-round – five days per week after school and full days in the summer and school vacations. Full-time Coordinators are the link between the families and schools. Programming is supported by a long-standing partnership with Milton Academy and other community agencies and includes tutoring, academic enrichment, mentoring, recreational activities, STEM learning, and field trips. We also offer a Youth Violence Prevention and Anti-Bullying curriculum Case management, behavioral health programs, and customized support plans are the key to success.
