Magaly De Jesus

Director of Adult Services

Brookview House is pleased to announce that Magaly De Jesus has joined the organization as Director of Adult Services. In this role, De Jesus will direct the service plans for each family Brookview serves, ensuring the maximum number of families are placed into sustainable permanent housing and remain successfully housed. Brookview’s Adult Services helps families facing homelessness move toward self-sufficiency by providing housing search assistance, case management, life skills development, financial literacy classes, behavioral health and support groups, as well as community programs.

The Boston resident joins Brookview from The Dimock Center in Roxbury where for the past decade she has supported operations at the Mary Eliza Mahoney House Emergency Family Shelter, first as a case manager and housing specialist, then as Program Director from 2019 to present. At Dimock, De Jesus was responsible for the overall operation of the shelter along with intensive case management, collaborating with state agencies to fill beds and find housing for families. Before that, De Jesus worked for over a decade in domestic violence prevention, counseling and support.
